God Bless America!!

Nothing is more important to me than my relationship with God, and nothing should be more important to Americans than acknowledging His Sovereign Authority and Divine Providence. As we celebrate the 246th Anniversary of our Independence, let us all reflect upon the sacrifices made by so many, and be thankful to Our Creator, for the unalienable rights, freedoms and blessings of our liberty, which He has so graciously bestowed upon us!!

Here are some of my latest photos. The Great Blue Herons, Green Herons, and Great Egrets are out en masse these days. The “baby” Ospreys (Huey, Dewey and Louise) are nearly three months old now, and flying all over the small lake they call home. Mama and Daddy (Daisy and Donald) still provide their meals from them. That will continue for just a little while longer.

Meanwhile, the goslings are getting bigger and sprouting their adult plumage. It has been fun to watch them grow!

I ran into “Bear”, the Fox Squirrel again. He allowed me to get much closer than usual this time. I had to stand perfectly still, and be quiet (which, if you know me, is nearly impossible!).

I have also included a few shots from my new friend, Madelyn, who is the Animal Keeper at Dauset Trails, a local Nature Center, and home of General Beauregard Lee, The South’s Groundhog Prognosticator. Two of the shots are Katie, the Black Bear, enjoying her 4th of July watermelon. The other photo is a beautiful Bullfrog on a lily pad, much like the one Burl Ives sang about. Thank you for sharing, Madelyn!! We look forward to seeing more of your great photos in the future!!

Lastly, I would love for everyone to hear Pastor Randy’s sermon from this morning. He addresses the issues confronting America today, and what we need to do to correct them. As always, his messages are supported by Scripture. Please go to “The Preacher’s Corner” Category, by returning to the “Home” Page and scrolling down. It will be the first sermon.

Thank you for visiting!! Please leave a comment and share with your friends and family across social media, if you’d like. I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe, and blessed 4th of July (Independence Day), and may God continue to bless our Great Nation!!

Welcome, Madelyn!!

We look forward to seeing and sharing many more of your photos in the future!!

Love the shots of the Blue Herron taking flight. I thought the black squirrels were only found up north?
