Well, three weeks after his sister took to the skies, Tom finally decided he could do it too!! And do it, he did!!

He gets first billing, so the photos aren’t in chronological order. The first few were from two days ago, when Tom would flap his wings and “fly” from one side of the nest to the other. The next ones are of him actually flying today, soaring majestically, and frolicking with his sister Jeri, and their new friend, Janie.

I chased them through the woods, watching them play. I was able to get some good shots, but missed a few as well. Then the monsoons came and I drove my wet butt home – BUT … I stopped to visit Sweet Lucy before getting too far down the road!!

The photos of Bam Bam delivering the fish to Tom are from Sunday as well.
