New Baby Osprey!!

Pebbles and Bam Bam have a new baby!! It looks as if there will only be one this year, after having two (Tom and Jeri) last year. Still, I am excited about watching it mature. It will take about 8 weeks for it to be as large as its parents, and start flying. Its eyes will remain that stunning shade of orange for about a year, before turning lime-green. Once I determine whether or not it’s an only child, I’ll give it a name.

Meanwhile, the Ibises have invaded our little swamp for a little while. They are beautiful birds, and busy as a waterbug!!

Also, an expectant Doe, a Snowy Egret, a Little Blue Heron and a friendly Water Moccasin made guest appearances!!

Thank you for visiting!! I hope you enjoy these. Please feel free to share with your family and friends across all social media platforms.

I hope everyone has a great week!!

You did it again Danny! Beautiful shots…we actually saw two deer about that size in the marshes Tuesday afternoon plus Monday we saw three Black-bellied Whistling Ducks! Always an adventure at the
Mounds!

Hey Danny,
You are NOT an amateur photographer! These photos are exposed, framed, composed, and balanced as good as any professional photographer. Don’t let anyone tell you differently! It was great to meet you and get to know you today. Keep shooting! You can only get wiser.

Rand
