Welcome to Danny's Wildlife Page!!
About
Me
Thank you for stopping by to visit!!
I am just a regular dude, who loves animals of all types. I love showcasing God’s Creation, in all its splendor and Glory, through my photographs. Most of my photos are taken near my home in the central part of Georgia. This site is set up purely for your enjoyment. I’m not promoting or selling anything. I do hope you’ll leave comments, chat with me when I’m on, or drop me a line!
These photos were all taken by me, unless noted. I will usually be glad to email you a full-sized image, if you request one. I do NOT want them to be commercialized. I would love to see them used in schools, or by Nature groups, or just shared with your friends and family.
I am not a professional photographer, nor do I play one on TV (If you’re old, you’ll get that). I am currently using a SONY A7RV camera with a Sigma 60-600mm Sport or a SONY 100-400mm GM OSS lens for my main rig. I love them both!
Some shots, of course, were taken with older cameras and smaller lenses.
Happy Viewing!!

(It’s funny, OK??)
This is my great friend Anne, who is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. She can identify any species of bird, plant, or insect, and more!! She is my “go-to” source when I have no idea what I’ve captured in my photos!!
Thank you Anne!!
This is my sweet friend Madelyn, who is the Animal Keeper at Dauset Trails, a local non-profit Nature Center. Most of their animals are native to Georgia. Their most famous resident is General Beauregard Lee, Georgia’s Official Winter Prognosticating Groundhog.
Madelyn will be showcasing some of the animals she cares for, as well as some of her own wildlife photography. In the photo above, she is holding “Squirt”, one of several Gopher Tortoises at Dauset Trails. She loves animals as much as I do, and I love THAT!!
Welcome to our world, Madelyn!!
Thank you for visiting!!
